ARCADIA, Calif. (AP)—Lady of Shamrock degraded Batalha by 2 3/4 lengths to
win a $81,000 Blue Norther Stakes for 2-year-old fillies on Friday during Santa
Anita.
Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Lady of Shamrock ran one mile on a territory in
1:34.24 and paid $5.60, $3.40 and $3 as a 9-5 favorite. Batalha returned $6.20
and $4.40, while Byrama was another neck behind in third and paid $5.20 to show.
Lady of Shamrock warranted $48,600 for a win.
