NEW YORK (AP)—Baseball owners contend Commissioner Bud Selig will be offering a
contract prolongation during this week’s meetings in Phoenix.
ESPN.com initial reported that Selig will be offering an additional reign when
owners accommodate Wednesday and Thursday in Scottsdale, Ariz. Two owners, vocalization on

Associated Press on Tuesday that a new reign will be proposed.
